LogiPlus and aflexio launch free web seminar series on 29 April 2020
The first part of a free three-part web seminar series by the supply chain experts from LogiPlus and aflexio will take place on 29 April 2020. In the first web seminar, the supply chain planning specialists from aflexio and the SAP EWM pioneers from LogiPlus will show which planning approaches work for volatile times and how to identify logistics potential in the warehouse and exploit it.
The global spread of the corona virus has serious implications for companies’ supply chains. Often, the focus is on automating processes to achieve cost and efficiency benefits. However, in volatile and uncertain times like we are currently experiencing, this lacks the flexibility that is actually necessary to react quickly to unexpected events and ensure a functioning supply chain. Since unforeseen events can rarely be avoided, anticipating their impact is essential in order to make the necessary operational adjustments to supply chain planning and execution when needed.
In close cooperation, the supply chain and SAP experts from LogiPlus and aflexio have developed a free three-part web seminar series, which on the one hand is intended to support how to optimally position oneself in the long term in order to be able to successfully navigate through volatile times. In addition, very pragmatic approaches are presented to achieve quick wins with ideas that can be implemented quickly and to optimise the supply chain holistically.
Ways to the optimal planning methodology and warehouse management software with SAP
The first web seminar in this series with the title “Ways to the right planning methodology and to the optimal warehouse management software with SAP solutions” will take place on 29.04.2020 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The first part will be given by Martin Pesch, Managing Director of aflexio GmbH. “In our lecture “Today’s planning is tommorow’s snow. Or is it not?” we will illustrate why current planning methodologies fail. We would like to show participants ways to improve inventory effectiveness and ensure production.“, is how aflexio co-founder Martin Pesch describes the aims of his presentation.
Quick wins in the warehouse with SAP EWM
The second part of this web seminar is held by Thilo Matheis, founder and managing director of the LogiPlus Group. Under the title “Optimising your warehouse logistics – now more than ever?!“, the SAP EWM thought leader will show how logistical potential in the warehouse can be raised in the short term with SAP-based solutions. Matheis will also present LogiPlus’ own Rapid Deployment Solution for SAP EWM. “Through a rapid, best practice-oriented implementation of LP PoweredEWM, it is possible for our customers to raise potentials not only in the medium and long term, but to a particular extent also in the short term.“, Matheis explains one of the approaches to optimising supply chain execution.
