From 11. – 13. October 2022, this year’s DSAG Annual Congress 2022 took place at the Congress Center in Leipzig under the motto “In Search of Success”.
As SAP EWM pioneers, we from LogiPlus gave a cutting-edge lecture on warehouse automation with AutoStore and SAP EWM. Visitors of this lecture found out from Jörg Martin from DAW and from our LogiPlus expert Marco Guckenburg why the connection to SAP EWM was so important, how it succeeded and which advantages this opens up for DAW.

“Integrated warehouse automation at DAW SE: The tailor-made connection of AutoStore to SAP EWM”
DAW, Europe’s largest private manufacturer of building paints and thermal insulation, introduced AutoStore at its headquarters in Ober-Ramstadt to optimise the material flow and increase the efficiency. But AutoStore only unfolds its full potential when it is integrated into existing systems.
That is why DAW, together with LogiPlus, made a direct connection to the existing SAP EWM system implemented by us. One of the guarantees for success was the upstream analysis of the current situation at DAW. This guaranteed a tailor-made connection via task interface with SAP EWM as the leading system. DAW benefits, among other things, from complete transparency in SAP EWM, from consistent system-guided work and from UI5 workstation dialogs.
