Migration from SAP WM and SAP EWM SCM

In February 2020, SAP announced the end of mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7 at the end of 2027. This also affects the applications relevant for warehouse management SAP ERP 6.0 with SAP WM as well as SAP SCM 7.0.

  • Migration of SAP WM: SAP WM is an integrated solution in SAP ERP and is being replaced by SAP Stock Room Management. Companies with SAP WM are now faced with some groundbreaking decisions. Which warehouse management solution should be used in the future? Is the performance scope of the designated SAP WM successor SAP Stock Room Management sufficient? Or does SAP EWM make more strategic sense?
  • Migration of SAP EWM SCM: The SAP EWM based on SAP SCM has to be replaced by SAP EWM S/4HANA, and this already by 2025! Therefore, an approach has to be worked out how the transformation can succeed efficiently.
