With an exciting customer lecture: CLAAS shows how production logistics was optimised globally with EWM
SAP is hosting the SAP Innovation Day Warehouse and Transport Management event on 14. November 2024. The event will take place at SAP University in St. Leon-Rot and offers a varied agenda with industry and specialist area-related contributions from SAP customers, SAP partners and SAP.
As SAP EWM pioneers, we will of course be on site with an exhibition stand for participants. We will be available to answer all questions relating to SAP EWM, migration & transformation, warehouse automation and operational excellence. A joint presentation with our customer CLAAS will be a special treat.
Highlight: Lecture by our customer CLAAS on the global optimisation of production logistics with SAP EWM
Together with Henning Wortmann (Global IT – Team Leader Purchasing & Logistics, CLAAS KGaA mbH), LogiPlus CSO Axel Kunkelmann will give an exclusive presentation entitled ‘How CLAAS has optimised production logistics globally with SAP EWM: Rollout Tour 2018-2024’.
By migrating from SAP WM to EWM, CLAAS, the world market leader for agricultural machinery, has optimised production logistics worldwide at various locations with different requirements. In order to carry out the rollouts efficiently, the SAP EWM experts from LogiPlus initially developed a global EWM rollout template together with CLAAS.
Participants will gain insights into the strategic direction of warehouse management at CLAAS and learn how the migration and optimisation of production supply at the individual sites in Germany, France, the USA and Hungary was successful. Among other things, the focus was on the integration of automation solutions in SAP EWM, the integration of external service providers into the CLAAS system and the introduction of supermarkets at the production sites.
