If products are shipped via CEP service providers, information from the express service is usually already required at the time of delivery creation, e.g. routing information, service or product codes. The data can be stored either at delivery level or at shipping unit level.
If an express service provider is specified in the outbound delivery, the information is automatically uploaded from the data stored for the express service. There is a separate “Parcel tracking” tab at header level in the outbound delivery document for this purpose . The shipper informs the consignee of the tracking number and any further information about the express delivery service.
Optionally, the shipper can create a transport document that contains all shipments to an express service. Based on this transport, he can generate a manifest, i.e. a putaway list, and send it to the service provider. This is done electronically via the transport IDoc.
Both the shipper and the recipient can view the CEP shipment tracking at any time using the tracking number.
Below you will find our Ready-to-Run parcels for DPD, with the DPD-specific functions. Of course, in addition to DPD, our add-on can also be used to map the usual CEP service providers.
The data for external express services is maintained and managed in the Express Service Cockpit. We offer the implementation required for this as a ready-to-run package with two different functional scopes:
