The intralogistics market offers a wide range of automation solutions for in-house material transport, storage and order picking as well as for the packaging and loading of goods.

In most cases, the initial decision in favour of an automation solution is based on factors such as item size, order structures, capacity, flexibility and scalability. Integration into the WMS is only considered afterwards. However, this approach harbours risks and sometimes considerable additional costs for integration.

Instead, the options for integration into existing structures and, in particular, into the WMS should already be examined during the planning and conception phase for the various automation alternatives and taken into account in the final selection.
