With the migration to SAP S\/4HANA and the discontinuation of SAP WM and SAP EWM SCM, many companies are faced with the task of reorganising their warehouse management for the future. The AWF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft f\u00fcr wirtschaftliche Fertigung)<\/a> founded the “Warehouse Management with SAP” working group in June 2023 to support this process and facilitate the exchange of ideas with experts and other SAP user companies. Interested companies still have the opportunity to register now. <\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

More and more SAP users are facing the challenge of migrating and optimising their warehouse management and logistics processes in SAP EWM. But which SAP EWM solution is best suited to the company’s specific requirements? Which approach is the right one – brownfield or greenfield? How should warehouse processes be optimised to get the most out of the solution? How can a smooth changeover be achieved and which approach offers the most optimisation potential for the warehouse? This decision must be weighed up in terms of benefit orientation, functionality, costs, available resources, corporate strategy and the specific company situation in intralogistics. <\/p>\n

This exclusive working group therefore focuses on the participants’ challenges and their solutions. Participants can actively shape the focal points of the meetings and benefit from the comprehensive expertise of the technical leaders of this working group: Thilo Matheis, CEO of the SAP EWM experts at LogiPlus Consulting, and Dr. Markus Nave, Managing Director of MALORG GmbH<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

You can learn best practices and customisations that will help you meet your specific business needs. The experience sharing, networking and training opportunities in the community will help make your migration projects more successful and maximise the benefits of an effective SAP solution for your warehouse management,” says<\/em> SAP EWM pioneer Thilo Matheis, describing the benefits of this AG.<\/p>\n

The regular working sessions always take place on site at the participating companies. Heidelberger Druck is hosting the first workshop in Wiesloch on September 18-19. The focus will be on implementation methodology, change management and user acceptance. The working group is aimed at manufacturing companies and trading companies with a strong focus on warehouse logistics. “With the topic outlined, we are addressing managers and specialists from the fields of logistics, warehouse and material flow planning, warehouse management and control,” says<\/em> Matheis, defining the target group and also explicitly addressing heads of SAP implementations, IT managers, IT project managers, SAP key users and SCM business experts who are interested in setting up, controlling and optimising modern warehouse logistics concepts with SAP applications.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
