On July 16, 2020, the supply chain and SAP experts from LogiPlus and aflexio will be hosting the third online seminar in their three-part event series. This time, they are taking on the theme of the classic movie “Back to the Future”. Under the title “Back to the supply chain future! What you can take away from the time before Corona.” the supply chain specialists will use successful examples to describe how efficiency increases in the warehouse and in planning can be achieved quickly and purposefully. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Analogous to the cult film “Back to the Future” from the 1980s, in which Marty McFly returns to the past to positively influence the future, the supply chain experts from LogiPlus and aflexio also go back to the past with the participants. Project examples will be used to highlight which measures worked to optimise the supply chain in the time before Corona. They will also show how companies can take these concepts and solutions into the future and transform them in order to remain successful in the future – especially in volatile times. <\/p>\n

The web seminar is divided into the focus topics of warehouse logistics and supply chain planning. The first part will be presented by the supply chain planning experts from aflexio. Under the title “The supply chain paradox: How to successfully search for stability even in volatile times”, aflexio Managing Director Martin Pesch will report on how an integrated planning strategy can be used to meet the challenges of complexity and volatility and still achieve a stable supply chain with reasonable effort. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Thilo Matheis, founder and Managing Director of the LogiPlus Group, will then take to the digital stage. In his presentation “Increasing efficiency in the warehouse: technically feasible does not always make logistical sense”, the SAP EWM pioneer will focus on which measures make logistical sense and lead to success and a quick ROI. And which do not. <\/p>\n

“It is important to me to make it clear that the logistics processes have absolute priority and should be supported by the SAP software. And that it is a mistake if the logistics processes are subordinate to the software,” says<\/em> Matheis, describing the focus of this seminar.<\/p>\n

“Nevertheless, as the market-leading warehouse management software, SAP EWM offers immense opportunities to eliminate pain points in the warehouse, even in the very short term.
