Follmann Chemie GmbH’s aim was to improve monitoring in the warehouse. Due to the complexity within the three company groups, the enormous warehouse activities and a complex Excel cockpit with SQL interfaces to SAP WM, the data had to be updated manually two to three times a day.
Manual updating led to long loading times and large volumes of data, which meant that evaluation, reporting and control measures could only be carried out with a delay. Before the migration from SAP WM to EWM, a decision had to be made as to whether the Excel cockpit should be converted or replaced by a modern tool.
With LP EasyDashboard, Follmann Chemie opted for a new, future-proof tool that enables real-time access to all relevant data and automatic updating so that the warehouse always knows the latest status of the workload. The add-on not only increases transparency, but is also intuitive to use, which increases employee acceptance and efficiency.
