The LP Pager Connect solution [ixaro Edition] enables direct radio pager communication for the transmission of short messages to truck drivers on the factory premises. The message transmission between your SAP EWM system and your ixaro pager is controlled via Remote Function Call (TCP/IP).
The efficiency of yard management processes can be increased many times over thanks to the optimised coupling between hardware and software. This avoids start-up overlaps and unnecessary downtimes.
The procedure is very simple. The truck driver receives a pager on arrival at the gate. From this point on, the rest of the process is controlled using the driving instructions issued by the SAP system. This always takes place in parallel with the processes in Yard Management.
