When goods are shipped via CEP service providers, carrier-specific information, such as routing, service or product codes, is required when the outbound delivery is created. This information can be maintained at either the delivery or shipping item level.
If a CEP carrier is assigned to the outbound delivery, the required carrier information is automatically transferred from the stored master data. To support this, the outbound delivery document provides a “Shipment Tracking” tab at the header level. The shipper can then provide the recipient with the tracking number and, if required, additional shipment information.
Both the shipper and the recipient can monitor the shipment status at any time using the tracking number.

The data for external express services is maintained and managed in the Express Service Cockpit. We offer the implementation required for this as a ready-to-run package with two different functional scopes:
