Desktop PCs with SAP GUI are unsuitable for data collection in the warehouse. Instead, mobile data collection devices are used to access the SAP system directly. However, the SAP GUI does not work on many of these devices as it is not compatible with common operating systems such as Android or older versions of Windows. Standard browsers reach their limits in an industrial environment and are not suitable for use in warehouses optimised.
This is where a specialised industrial browser comes into play, which is specifically designed to meet the requirements of mobile data collection in the warehouse. This enables efficient, seamlessly integrated work in everyday warehouse operations. With the Internet Transaction Server (ITS), UI5 and Fiori it is possible, RF transactions directly in the SAP system using a mobile data capture device (SAP MDE) and a web browser.
In order to be suitable for industrial use, mobile solutions must fulfill important characteristics and functionalities. Robust devices with special hardware, such as barcode scanners, imagers or SAP RFID scanners, are a basic requirement. At the same time, the web browser as client software must be user-friendly, stable and fault-tolerant. For example, it must not be possible for a user to leave a scheduled program sequence prematurely.
The LP EasyClient is a tried-and-tested and innovative mobile web browser for industrial use. In combination with our add-on LP MobileGRAFIX add-on especially for the WebSAP Console and SAP ITS – but also for UI5 and SAP Fiori – it offers all the features you need to work smoothly and efficiently with RF transactions.
The client can run on all mobile data capture devices with Microsoft Windows or Android operating systems. This allows you to choose freely from a wide range of mobile devices from different manufacturers. The “look and feel” is retained when changing devices or in mixed operation with different devices.
In contrast to other browser solutions, which are usually designed for broader application areas and are subject to constant version changes, long-term compatibility with WebSAP Console and SAP ITS is guaranteed.

The customer orders – and expects fast delivery. This is now becoming the norm. But a lot of time is often lost in the warehouse. Whether through manual processes, which take considerably longer than automated processes and also lead to significantly more errors. Or due to media disruptions caused by the different systems used in day-to-day operations. And last but not least, due to long walking distances.
What does it often look like in practice? The warehouse employee first goes to the office, where he picks up tons of slips of paper for order picking. Then he goes back to the warehouse and starts picking the goods. And as soon as all the paperwork has been processed, he brings it back to the office – often at the end of the day. The responsible employee in the office then starts to manually enter the data in the SAP system.
Mobile data capture, e.g. with scanners, pick-by-glass or pick-by-voice leads to faster processes, avoids unnecessary media disruptions and massively reduces the error rate.
Our LP EasyClient add-on offers many other quality assurance options. For example, the feature enables Photo capture with upload to the SAP systemfeature enables the documentation of defective deliveries at goods receipt and stores the image with the corresponding business object. The documentation of quality defects incl. The complaint is processed much faster and more efficiently by documenting the quality defects, including the supplier’s signature.
The feature is also used for outgoing goods, e.g. for example, to document the legally required load security measures. The image recordings can be stored in the SAP system in the delivery document, incl. signature confirmation of the responsible shipper.
The LP EasyClient offers fully integrated process-driven photo capture and signature capture, with automatic storage in the SAP system for the respective business object such as delivery, transport or inspection lot.
This considerably simplifies the documentation of various business transactions. As all information is transferred directly to the SAP system, data no longer has to be entered manually or documents printed out and filed. This saves time and reduces the error rate. In addition, the information can be retrieved and tracked quickly and easily at any time.
Possible use cases are diverse and include, for example, the documentation of load securing after the last pallet, the documentation of transport damage or the verification of correct packaging and quantities. In addition, signature capture can also be used to document handovers to freight forwarders.
