Exchange of experience and practical knowledge transfer in the AWF AG "Warehouse management with SAP"

More and more SAP users are facing the challenge of migrating and optimising their warehouse management and logistics processes in SAP EWM. But which SAP EWM solution is best suited to the company’s specific requirements? Which approach is the right one – brownfield or greenfield? How should warehouse processes be optimised to get the most out of the solution? How can a smooth changeover be achieved and which approach offers the most optimisation potential for the warehouse? This decision must be weighed up in terms of benefit orientation, functionality, costs, available resources, corporate strategy and the specific company situation in intralogistics.

This exclusive working group therefore focuses on the participants’ challenges and their solutions. The regular working sessions always take place on site at the participating companies. Heidelberger Druck is hosting the first workshop in Wiesloch on September 18-19. The focus will be on implementation methodology, change management and user acceptance. The working group is aimed at manufacturing companies and trading companies with a strong focus on warehouse logistics. “With the topic outlined, we are addressing managers and specialists from the fields of logistics, warehouse and material flow planning, warehouse management and control,” says Matheis, defining the target group and also explicitly addressing heads of SAP implementations, IT managers, IT project managers, SAP key users and SCM business experts who are interested in setting up, controlling and optimising modern warehouse logistics concepts with SAP applications.
