Ludwigshafen, January 12, 2025 – Under the motto “Let’s Rock the Stock”, the web seminar “GoodStock! The SAP EWM Festival” by the LogiPlus Group took place on October 21. In one compact hour, the SAP EWM experts presented four practice-oriented sessions that showed how central challenges in warehouse and production processes can be efficiently mastered with SAP EWM.
With the unusual concept of an “EWM Festival”, LogiPlus succeeded in combining specialist knowledge with inspiration. Instead of dry theory, the event offered lively insights from real projects – vivid, solution-oriented and with a touch of festival atmosphere.
The first presentation “Flexibly networked: Controlling any warehouse technology with SAP EWM MFS” focused on the direct connection and control of automation technology. SAP logistics expert Martin Lasota showed how complex and automated warehouse landscapes can be designed flexibly, efficiently and future-proof through the use of MFS.
Abdurrahman Ercin then demonstrated in “Seamless Kanban integration in Embedded EWM – automated replenishment processes for production” how production supply can now do without manual intervention. By using Kanban processes in Embedded EWM, material flows can be automated and throughput times significantly reduced.
In the third presentation, Markus Gärtner shed light on how companies can use trolleys and dollies efficiently in intralogistics. Specific process examples were used to illustrate how SAP EWM helps to optimally control order picking and interim storage – a topic with great potential for increasing efficiency.
Felix Wunder concluded the event with the topic “Automated returnable packaging management with SAP EWM to increase efficiency”. He presented how automated inventory management of pallets, containers or crates not only creates transparency, but also reduces losses and cuts costs.
The web seminar impressively demonstrated how versatile and practical SAP EWM can be. The compact format of around 15 minutes per topic was particularly appreciated – focused on the essentials, without theoretical digressions.
