Ludwigshafen, March 03- How can consistent, stable and high-performance intralogistics be achieved with AutoStore and SAP EWM? How does AutoStore interact with SAP EWM along central intralogistics processes and what added value does it create in day-to-day operations? The SAP EWM pioneers from LogiPlus Consulting will address these questions in a web seminar on March 4.
Under the title “The smart journey of a material in the warehouse – AutoStore & SAP EWM intelligently integrated”, LogiPlus expert Philipp Klein accompanies a material on its end-to-end journey in the warehouse – from storage to internal material flows to goods issue and production supply. The focus is on the intelligent interaction between AutoStore as a modern automation solution for small parts and SAP EWM as the market-leading warehouse management and control system.
Based on real customer projects, the SAP EWM specialists from Ludwigshafen will show how AutoStore can be seamlessly integrated into existing SAP EWM-managed logistics processes – from the arrival of goods in the warehouse with putaway and replenishment, through stock transfers and material movements in the system, to picking, retrieval and just-in-time supply to production. Both the process-related perspective and the technical implementation are considered.
“Many companies are currently facing the challenge of automating their warehouse processes without losing flexibility and transparency,” explains LogiPlus CSO Axel Kunkelmann. “In the web seminar, we will show in a practical way how an intelligent AutoStore-SAP-EWM integration starts right here and creates real added value: from stable material flows to high-performance production supply.”
A particular focus is on the ready-to-run integration solution LP PowerPackage/4AS from LogiPlus. This solution enables a fast, standardized and secure connection of AutoStore to SAP EWM and maps all relevant logistics processes – including modern UI5 dialogs and current communication standards. This allows AutoStore projects to be significantly accelerated while ensuring high process quality.
In the web seminar, SAP intralogistics experts will also share specific lessons learned from real projects, point out typical stumbling blocks in AutoStore EWM implementations and explain proven success factors for high-performance, stable and future-proof solutions. Participants will gain compact insights into ongoing and completed automation projects as well as specific recommendations for their own intralogistics and automation strategy.
