Ludwigshafen, May 26, 2025 – The end of SAP WM is in sight: Maintenance of SAP’s former flagship warehouse management system will expire at the end of 2027. Companies that are still using SAP WM are therefore faced with the need to migrate to a new system in good time – in most cases to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). However, traditional migration projects are considered to be lengthy, complex and resource-intensive, which is why some companies are still hesitant. This is precisely where LogiPlus Consulting comes in with its new web seminar.
The SAP intralogistics specialists from Ludwigshafen will show how this change can be structured, efficient and significantly faster in a web seminar on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Under the title “Rock Your Migration! From SAP WM to SAP EWM in three months with LP PoweredEWM” experienced experts Martin Lasota and Markus Gärtner will present the tried-and-tested LogiPlus methodology and provide specific recommendations for planning and implementing the migration.
The online event will focus on the specially developed rapid deployment solution LP PoweredEWMwhich is based on preconfigured best practices, customized LogiPlus warehouse add-ons and integrated automation logic. One highlight: the solution also supports MFS functionalities with push channels, which means that the connection to PLC systems works smoothly.
LP PoweredEWM is delivered SAP-compliant and installed directly in the development system. A prototype is ready for operation within one day, which enables immediate onboarding in the live system. The project starts at 75% completion, significantly reducing time, effort and risk.
The solution was specially developed to reduce the complexity of the migration and enable seamless and rapid integration into existing SAP system landscapes – while at the same time ensuring a high level of predictability and efficiency.
Among other things, the web seminar will shed light on the pressing challenges surrounding the end of SAP WM, the migration options available in the SAP EWM environment and the right time to make the switch. Participants will learn how to derive the right migration strategy in the context of their individual S/4HANA roadmap.
In addition, the LogiPlus experts will provide insights into the proven project methodology and use specific examples from customer projects to show which success factors are decisive for a successful migration.
