In this data protection declaration, we inform you about the type, scope, purposes and legal basis of the collection and processing of your personal data when using our website, as well as the rights to which you are entitled under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING BY THE RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY AND THIRD PARTIES

We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

you have given your express consent,
the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract with you,
the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation,
the processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data.

4. SECURITY OF TRANSMISSION

This website uses the so-called TLS protocol (Transport Layer Security) in conjunction with at least 128-bit encryption for the transfer of personal data in order to protect the data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised parties. These security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments. You can recognise the encrypted data transfer by the closed lock symbol in the upper status bar of your browser.

5. COLLECTION OF GENERAL INFORMATION WHEN VISITING OUR WEBSITE

When you access our website, we collect only the information that your browser sends to our server in the case of purely informative use, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide information. Brochure, white paper
Visitors to our website are offered the opportunity to order brochures or white papers. To order a brochure or white paper, you must fill out a contact form giving your title (if and as applicable), last name, company and e-mail address. After submitting the contact form, the white paper will be sent to the given e-mail address. The data processing for mailing of white papers is subject to Art. 6.1(b) GDPR.

Website visitors can request product brochures or white paper. For this purpose, the interested party must complete a contact form in which the title (if and as applicable), first name, surname and e-mail address must be stated. After submitting the contact form, the person making the request will receive the brochure or white paper by e-mail. The legal basis of the data processing for sending the brochure and white paper is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (b) GDPR.

Events, web-seminars, online meetings and on-site visits
Visitors of our website have the opportunity to register for events, web-seminars, online meetings and on-site visits. To do this, the interested party must complete a contact form in which the title (if and as applicable), first name, surname, company, function, telephone number and e-mail address can be stated. After submitting the contact form, the inquiring person will receive a confirmation of registration. The legal basis for processing the data for registration is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (b) GDPR.

7. COOKIES

Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive and stored in your browser. They contain certain information such as IP address, browser used, operating system and duration of the website visit. Cookies can originate both from us as the website operator (so-called first-party cookies) and from third parties in the case of cooperation with third parties (so-called third-party cookies). The intended period of storage may vary, ranging from the duration of site use to several years. Cookies cannot be used to launch programs or transmit viruses to a computer. In addition, we use the online advertising programme “Google Ads”. As a Google Ads customer, the operator of a site receives a so-called “conversion cookie”. These cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Google Ads customers. An evaluation of the conversion cookie by the Google Ads customer is therefore not possible. The information obtained with the help of the cookie is used to create website statistics, i.e. it enables an evaluation of previously defined actions that a user has performed on the website. We get from Google the total number of users who clicked on the ad and were redirected to a webpage tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users. 9. USE OF GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

We use data security services such as CAPTCHA services (Completely Automated Public Turing Test To Tell Computers And Humans Apart) to prevent non-human and automated input. Captchas are relatively easy to read for humans, but not for computers. The numbers and letters used in a captcha are distorted so that IT systems cannot decipher them.

We use the reCAPTCHA service from Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St., Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland). When using reCAPTCHA, your IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service will be sent to Google. This practice is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in establishing individual personal responsibility on the Internet and preventing misuse and spam.

When using Google reCAPTCHA, personal data may also be transfered to servers of Google LLC in the U.S.A. For personal data that is sent to Google LLC in the USA, Google LLC has self-certified and committed itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. 10. USE OF SCRIPT LIBRARIES (GOOGLE WEBFONTS)

In order to display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library, whereby Google learns that our web pages were called up via your IP address. The use of Google web fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our web pages. If your browser does not support Google Fonts or Web Fonts, a standard font will be used by your terminal device. 11. USE OF GOOGLE MAPS

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) also collects, processes and uses data about visitors’ use of the map functions.

Opening the sub-page on which the Google Maps map is embedded, our website sends various information including your IP address to Google in the USA, which is stored on their servers. If you have a Google user account and are logged in at the time of your website visit, this information will be directly linked to your Google account. However, even without a user account, Google creates a usage profile about you. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (f) GDPR. Our transmission of data to Google is based on our legitimate interest in offering you the map function of Google Maps on our website.

You can prevent the allocation of the data transmitted by us to your user account by logging out of Google before visiting our website. To completely prevent data transmission to Google, you must switch off the JavaScript application in your browser. The map display can then no longer be used.

LogiPlus is represented on various social media channels with different objectives, such as image cultivation, information about activities or the recruitment of new employees. We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data of the third-party providers.

When using the social media platforms, LogiPlus is only responsible for the data that you send directly to us when using the respective service.

When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account first. If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos.
