Press Release

End-to-end warehouse automation with SAP EWM in the focus of LogiPlus

LogiPlus will once again be performing at LogiMAT this year under the mottoLet’s Rock the Stock” and supporting companies in the customised optimisation of their intralogistics with SAP solutions. The SAP EWM pioneers are looking forward to a live presentation on the topics of migration, warehouse automation and smart tools for operational excellence in Hall 8, Stand C49. In addition to the topic of migration from SAP WM, the focus will be on the orchestration of automation solutions with SAP EWM.

From 19 to 21 March 2024, Europe’s leading intralogistics trade fair LogiMAT will once again open its doors in Stuttgart. Visitors to Hall 8 can look forward to concentrated software expertise. The SAP EWM experts from LogiPlus will be presenting tried-and-tested SAP logistics solutions and LogiPlus add-ons for the warehouse to close gaps in the SAP standard at stand C49 in a rocking atmosphere. Visitors can also look forward to an exciting presentation at the “Exhibitor Insights” expert forum on the holistic automation of warehouse logistics with SAP EWM MFS.

This year’s LogiPlus trade fair appearance will focus on the topics of migration, automation and operational excellence. The consultancy for SAP warehouse solutions is currently carrying out numerous migration projects, both from SAP WM to SAP EWM and from SAP EWM SCM to S/4HANA. At LogiMAT, LogiPlus will therefore be offering first-hand tips on what to look out for when creating a customised migration plan to exploit the full potential of SAP EWM S/4HANA. Interested parties can receive a voucher for a free pre-check site visit for an in-depth analysis of the current situation and specific recommendations for action.

Integration as a success factor for warehouse automation with SAP EWM

To utilise the full potential of automation solutions such as AutoStore or AGVs for the warehouse, an optimal connection to the existing IT landscape is required. Thilo Matheis, CEO of the LogiPlus Group, will report on this topic at the “Exhibitor Insights” forum in Hall 8 on the second day of the trade fair at 13:30.

Many companies are currently prioritising automation and the integration of different systems in EWM. Only through direct integration in SAP EWM can seamless processes be created and the full potential of the automated trades in terms of efficiency and performance be realised. The success of our customer DAW is an outstanding example of this,” says Thilo Matheis, summarising the current situation on the market and the recommended approach. Visitors to Matheis’ presentation will find out what to look out for when selecting an automated system and integrating it into SAP EWM.

Holistic overview for efficient control of warehouse activities

To achieve operational excellence in the warehouse, LogiPlus offers various add-ons for SAP EWM. One highlight is the LP EasyWarehouseManager add-on. Users receive a central tool for visualising the workload in real time and for flexible and efficient planning and control of warehouse tasks. LogiMAT visitors will have the opportunity to get an idea of the solution in a live demo at the LogiPlus stand. The LP EasyWarehouseManager covers all relevant processes with numerous filter criteria and control options, making warehouse tasks easier to plan and increasing the efficiency of order picking. In addition, functional enhancements can be easily made at any time so that the add-on can be customised to the company’s specific processes.
