Under the motto “Logistics for future: intelligent, crisis-proof, sustainable”, SAP is organising the SAP-Info Day Warehouse and Transport Management again this year. Due to Corona, the established event will take place online and only for half a day. However, this does not prevent us from continuing to be present for attendants in 2020. After the keynote by Franz Hero, SVP Supply Chain & Logistics Development at SAP, customers will present their projects in condensed online lectures. As in previous years, the event will be separated into the two streams warehouse and transport logistics. Participants will be able to ask the speakers questions in a concluding “Ask-the-Expert” round.
Focus of this event – Back to the Supply Chain Future

The Info-Day will focus on how to create resilient logistics processes in a sustainable manner in order to remain fit for the future. And this against the backdrop of the massive effects caused by Corona, such as replenishment problems, production or delivery bottlenecks. SAP is thus in line with the motto of our web seminar on 16 July: “Back to the Supply Chain Future”. Here we show which measures and strategies are successful even in volatile times.
Analogous to the cult film from the 80s, in which Marty McFly returns to the past to positively influence the future, we also went back to the past with the participants. Project examples made clear which measures were successful before Corona for optimising the supply chain and how these concepts can be transformed into the future in order to remain competitive, especially in volatile times.
