LogiPlus expands management team: Svenja Engler becomes Head of Operations

Since 1 July, the proven expert in supply chain management has been supporting the growth strategy of the SAP EWM pioneers

LogiPlus Consulting GmbH is strengthening its management team to further drive its existing international growth. Since 1 July 2020, Svenja Engler has been responsible for coordinating the areas of SAP consulting, IT strategy and process consulting as well as development and project management as Head of Operations.

With this expansion, the SAP and logistics experts from Ludwigshafen are taking into account the rapid growth of recent years. The team around Managing Director Thilo Matheis has continuously expanded both its turnover and its staff in recent years. Various strategic decisions were decisive for this successful expansion. For example, the dependence on individual industries could be massively reduced through a cross-sectoral approach, which opens up a considerable competitive advantage, especially in volatile times such as we are currently experiencing in the Corona crisis. Another success factor was the founding of LogiPlus Logistics Management GmbH, which enabled the product portfolio to be expanded in a targeted manner.

Support LogiPlus' growth strategy

The continuation of sustainable growth requires the right strategic decisions in the future as well. By creating the new position “Head of Operations” and filling it with Svenja Engler, another central building block was laid for this.

“Against the background of the extremely successful development of recent years, we have set ourselves ambitious growth targets for the coming years. With the role of “Head of Operations”, we are pursuing the goal of bundling the areas of SAP, IT and process consulting as well as development and project management and to view them holistically. In this way we want to allocate resources optimally for our customers.”, is how LogiPlus founder Thilo Matheis describes the objective. “We are very pleased to have found the perfect person for this position with Svenja Engler. She has exceptional competence in supply chain management as well as a dense network in the SAP community. This makes her a valuable addition to our team.”, adds the SAP EWM pioneer.

Customer perspective as a guarantee for success

From 2007 to 2016, Svenja Engler was Process Manager at Rudolf Wild GmbH & Co. KG and subsequently responsible for Supply Chain Management and Head of International Roll-Outs at the Döhler Group. “Coming from industry and now changing sides, Ms Engler knows the concerns and perspectives of our customers. Since she puts on the customer’s glasses in all projects, she offers our customers invaluable added value.“, says Matheis, describing the advantages for LogiPlus customers.

Svenja Engler elaborates on the benefits for customers: “I wouldn’t go so far as to see myself as a diplomat between customer and service provider. But we all know from experience that many stumbling blocks can only be removed by knowing the interests of both sides and translating them into the language of the other.”

And Engler continues to comment on her motivation to change: “At LogiPlus I was immediately impressed by how the pioneers of SAP-based warehousing approach their projects with comprehensive expertise and passion. This fits me perfectly. I also live my projects with enthusiasm. And professionally we harmonize perfectly with my holistic supply chain management experience and my SAP EWM know-how”.
