New web seminar: “Quo Vadis SAP WM? EWM or Stock Room Management – we show the way”

Live web seminar: Quo Vadis SAP WM?
SAP EWM or Stock Room Management – we show the way
With SAP EWM or SAP Stock Room Management, companies using SAP WM will in future have two ways to manage and control their warehouse. What is the difference between the solutions and when is which system best suited? In the live web seminar “Quo Vadis SAP WM?” by LogiPlus Consulting on 3 March 2022, experts will compare the solutions and give tips on which migration path is the most suitable.
With the discontinuation of SAP Warehouse Management (SAP WM), companies using SAP WM are currently required to reorganise their warehouse and logistics IT. As part of the phased-out ERP 6.0, SAP WM will no longer be available after 2027. Companies that have already migrated to SAP S/4HANA will only be able to use SAP WM in the S/4HANA core until 2025. Therefore, companies are now faced with the question of which warehouse management solution should be used in the future. Is the performance scope of the designated SAP WM successor SAP Stock Room Management sufficient? Or does the introduction of SAP EWM make more strategic sense?
The free live web seminar “Quo Vadis SAP WM? by LogiPlus Consulting on 3 March 2022 from 9 to 10 a.m. provides deep insights into the differences between the SAP solutions WM, Stock Room Management and EWM for warehouse management. Participants will learn which system is best suited to map their processes and requirements and how the customised migration from SAP WM succeeds.

Founder and CEO LogiPlus Group

Since SAP WM will no longer be available in the near future, it is now important for users to determine the goal and the right migration route,” reports Thilo Matheis, founder of LogiPlus and SAP EWM pioneer.

Companies should therefore be aware of the different migration options and check which solution best maps the individual processes and requirements. In the case of different warehouses, a hybrid solution could also be more economical.

The consultants of LogiPlus Consulting have a distinct SAP WM and SAP EWM expertise and have already gained extensive experience from various SAP WM migration projects. This web seminar is intended to be a guide for companies using SAP WM for warehouse management and to provide tips for the development of an individual migration roadmap.

SAP WM has been a proven solution for warehouse management for years. However, the demands of the modern supply chain have changed. Companies increasingly need more agile, integrative and data-driven solutions. SAP has therefore decided to focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to better meet the changing needs. We will show you how the change to SAP EWM can be successfully implemented in the web seminar on 28 September at 9:00 am.
